First Snow!

December 23 (two days before Christmas) we awoke to this:

SNOW IN ARIZONA!!

The night before, we had severe winds and some rain, but I didn't expect snow. It was a welcome surprise. But, like always when we have snow in Arizona, it is gone by that afternoon.

At least we had snow. But it came two days too early! We were SO CLOSE to having our first WHITE CHRISTMAS in years. Oh well. Here's hoping for next year.
